Started studying facial symmetry, composition, and color theory. Primarily wanted to hone into my design skills for marketing work but it crossed over to my lash & brow sets too.
It all started as a typical poor college kid just trying to make some extra cash. Attended University of Maryland for Finance and enrolled in beauty school.
2016
Received license and formed my first business, tns lashes llc.
2017
2018
Business picked up, so I began building out a team.
2019
Many asked me to teach them, so I started putting together training material condensing everything I've learned in the last 3 years.
2020
During Covid, I created an online training course for lash extensions to help keep the business afloat while the world was shut down.
2021
The online course was acquired by a larger lash e-commerce brand based in California, so then I became the Director of Online Operations for Socolashes.
2022
Fell in love with the world of e-commerce and digital marketing. Accomplished multiple online marketing courses and started freelance marketing gigs. Rebranded tns lashes into Bare Studios.
2023
Started working with medical aesthetic practices for digital marketing & social media services while lashing part time in Bethesda for fun.
2024
2025
Started using AI tools to help identify facial measurements and used prior skills to curate unique individualized sets. Also picked up reiki classes to help clients look and feel balanced.
From here, Balanced Beauty Co. was born.
